The Freeriders and BMXers of
Minnesota have agreed to work with alltheracing.com to help promote BMX racing
in Minnesoata
Bloomington, MN – February 26, 2008 - The president of the Freeriders
and BMXers of Minnesota (f-bom)
Shad Holland has agreed with Mark Conley, editor of AllTheRacing.com, to allow
website sharing to help promote BMX racing in the state Minnesota. Shad Holland
asked the f-bom board of directors to vote on whether
they wanted the users of AllTheRacing.com’s website
to use the web forums for f-bom (located at
f-bom.org) so BMX racers can have a place to chat about BMX racing topics such
as tracks, tech tips, riding pointers, and BMX events. The board unanimously
agreed to allow this relationship and believe it will help both organizations
achieve improved promotion of the BMX racing scene in the state of Minnesota.
AllTheRacing.com is the
premier website for BMX racers in Minnesota that provides a place for racers to
find out much of the BMX racing information they need. All the Minnesota BMX
tracks are listed along with the racing schedules for each track. Profiles and
pictures of racers are available and many other BMX related topic are provided,
including a place for older BMX racers to go, with a history of BMX racing in
Minnesota.
The Freeriders
and BMXers of Minnesota is an organization recently
created by Shad Holland to create a non-profit advocacy group that will help
organize efforts to get more and better places to ride for freeriders,
skatepark riders, street riders, dirtjumpers,
and BMX racers. The Freeriders and BMXers of Minnesota have an aggressive agenda to create a
strong group of individuals to work towards their goals to help the sport in
all of its forms. Their website provides a place for all riders to be able to
post on both important and fun topics. The idea is to create a community so
riders can help each other and advocate the sport by allowing people a free and
easy way to communicate.
The friendly relationship
between AllTheRacing.com and The Freeriders and BMXers of Minnesota will help strengthen the Freeriding and BMX community of Minnesota. f-bom has agreed to do its best to
keep the web forums as kid and family friendly as possible by using strong
moderation of its web site.
