3-31-08 - Message From Shad Holland - Having trouble finding a race in your age and class at the tracks? Well now you can find out where riders in your age and class will be by using the “Freeriders and BMXers of Minnesota” web forums. There is a new section called “BMX Moto Builder”. Just post up where you plan to race or ask others where they plan to race. You can even get a group to agree on a track to race at on a specific day.
Another new section was added so you can easily find out about race updates at tracks. Info about track conditions, weather, cancellations, and so on will be posted in the “Race Updates” section of the forums. Track directors, please sign up for the forums and use this section to keep your fellow racers updated on what is happening at your track.
If you have any new products you want to brag about, post up images and show us what you have in the “BMX Racing Tech Talk” section.
You can find all of this here: CLICK HERE
Registration is free, so what are you waiting for?

3-21-08 - A message from Paul Cater’s Wife/Toni: Paul came home Thursday afternoon from the Hospital. He is in tons of pain but doing quite well considering everything. We are keeping him as pain free as possible with medication and he is spending most of his time leaning back in the recliner trying to get comfortable. The punctured lung and bleeding associated with it seem to be doing fine the broken clavicle is what seems to cause the most pain and discomfort at this point.
I would ask that if you put HUGE thank you to EVERYONE who was there Tuesday and helped out with Paul and with Brody. Jeff Kracker was so wonderful and I am not sure who else I spoke with that night but I would ask that you send my sincere thanks for the help that was given to Paul, Brody and myself. The outpouring of support from the entire BMX community since the accident (phone calls, emails, etc..) has been wonderful. I know why Paul loves it so much. And if any one is asking, Paul is not planning on hanging up the bike at this time! He is looking forward to a slow but successful recovery and a return to the BMX track at some point!
Thanks again for your prayers and support!

We just found out that will not be doing surgery, but he is in a LOT of pain. He will be in the hospital for sure until tomorrow and then the doctors will decide whether he is ready to go home or not. The doctors told us it will be a minimum of 3 weeks before he will be able to move around without pain, but they said it will be a good 6 weeks recovery.
- Keep Paul in your thoughts and prayers Minnesota BMX -

3-3-08 - Paul Springer’s Corn Husker Report - Scott Kraker and I had quite an adventure this weekend down at the Cornhusker National in Kearney Nebraska. We started our trip on Friday morning at 6:20am and headed south only to run into a serious skating rink on 35 from the MN state line down to Ames Iowa. We saw approximately 30 car & trucks in the ditch, 10 of which had rolled over many times. We also saw about 6 jack knifed semi's and horse trailers as well, very scary stuff. We arrived in to Kearney at 2:40pm just in time to make our cruiser practice. We decided to practice Friday and race Saturday & Sunday. As we arrived in Kearney we were greeted by tons of our Minnesota racing family. THE REST OF THE STORY HERE

Thank you Ron (with your old school BMX background) and crew, for supporting us and Minnesota BMX!
